Ask Ss to look at the picture on page 6 and identify the characters
Set the scene “you are going to listen to Miss Hien and pupils greet in the class.”
Miss Hien: Good morning, boys and girls.
Pupils : Good morning , Miss Hien.
Play the recording twice.
Ask Ss to listen and repeat in chorus
Ask Ss to practice in pairs.
Call some pairs to perform
Have whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation

Pre- teach some new words:

Point to Picture a, asks Ss to fill the speech bubbles with correct

Have one repeat A’s part, the other B’s part. Then has the pair swap their parts.
