Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
master some words related to film topic.
get more understading about film and film’s history.
read to get specific information to answer the questions.

I. Class Stabilization: (1’)
T and Ss greet together.
T checks attendance.
II. Check-up: (3’)
Some Ss are called to bring T their notebooks and workbooks for checking.
T checks and gives marks.
III. Warm-up: (6’)
Rule: There are some pictures of some famous films. Raise your hands if you know the names of the films. If your answer is correct, you will receive a small gift.

3. Tam Cam: The untold story (Tam Cam: chuyen chua ke)
4. Em la ba noi cua anh

Ss are asked to guess the names of the films and raise their hands to give T the answers.
T checks answers and gives Ss gifts.

1. Before you read
Activity 1: (4’) Discussing
Work with a partner. Answer the following questions:
1. Do you want to see a film at the cinema or on TV? Why?
2. Can you name some of the films you have seen?
3. What kind of films do you like to see? Why?
Pair work
Ss are asked to work in pairs to ask and answer the 3 questions in their textbooks.
T sets time for this activity.
Some Ss are called to stand up and answer the questions.

New words:
