I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss can:
- get to know the topic and vocabulary related to ‘electronic devices’, through the conversation between two students.
- identify some three-syllable words.
- be educated how the electronic devices help students in learning.
II. Knowledge:
Language: relative clauses.
Vocabulary: touch screen, take note, look up, access.
III. Skills:
Main skills : listening, reading
Sub-skills : speaking, writing
IV. Methods: Integrated, mainly communicative
V. Teaching techniques: Eliciting, synonyms, explanation, information, transfer, asking and answering the questions, discussion, pair-work, group-work.
VI. Teaching aids: textbooks, posters, pictures and cassette

Have Ss describe the picture or elicit comments on it.
( lead into the new lesson.

1. Listen and read
- ask Ss to guess what the conversation might be about by looking at the pictures.
- Check their understanding of some new words.
- Have Ss read the new words in chorus and individually.
- Let Ss listen to the dialogue and have them practice it in pairs. Then demonstrate before class.
- Corrects Ss’ intonation and stress if necessary.

2. True or False.
- Have Ss read the conversation again and tick True or False.
- Collect Ss’answers and ask them to clarify their choices.
3. Find adjectives:
- Have Ss find and write the adjectives that describe the teen idol.
- Ask them to discuss the meanings in pairs.
- Check their answers and gives the feedback.
4. Answer the questions:
- Let Ss read the dialogue again.
- Ask Ss to work in pairs practicing asking and answering the questions
- Have them report their answers and check if they have any difficulties in understanding the conversation.
- T gives the feedback

Have Ss work in a group of 4 to discuss the 21st century mobile devices
- Ask them give examples from their experience.

4. Read the dialogue again and give answers to the following questions.
