- Introduces the picture.

- Reads the dialogue twice:
- Introduces the new words and new structures.
- Explains: -New words: Name of school objects.
- map, pencil, pencil box, school bag, wall.
- in, on, near.
- New structures.
- These are maps.
- They are on the wall.
- Those are maps.

3. Practice.
- Asks students to work in pairs.
