I. objectives.
1. General knowledge:
Asking where someone is from.
2. Language materials:
Vocabulary: - where.
- America, Vietnam, England, Singapore.

Grammar: Where`s she / he from? She`s / He`s from England.
3. Skills: Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing.
Focus: Speaking and Listening Skills.

1. Warm up and review.
- Asks some pairs of students to to talk about where they are from. - Ex: Where are you from?
I`m from Vietnam.
2. Presentation.
- Introduces the picture.
- Lam and Mai are talking about where they are from.
- Reads the dialogue twice:
- Introduces the new words and new structures.
- Explains: -New words:
he:
she:
- New structures.
Where`s she from?
She`s from England.
Where`s he from?
He`s from England.
3. Practice.
- Asks students to work in pairs.
- Asks students to work in pairs.
One asks one answers.
Where`s she / he from?
She`s / He`s from Vietnam
- Listening.
- Asks students to talk about the pictures.
- Reads the listening twice:
- Asks some students to say the keys.
- Reads the listening once more:
Free practice.
4. Consolidation.
- Asks some pairs of students to talk about where they are from.
5. Homework.
Guides students to do the exercises in workbook.

- Others correct.
- Look and talk about the picture by Vietnemese.
- Listen carefully and repeat
- Listen and repeat the new words and new structures.
- Give the meaning of each new word (Vietnamese equivelent if necessary)
- Read all new words (chorally, individually) and write them down on the students` notebooks.
- Pair work. Practcing the dialogue.(Read in a whisper)
- Pairs of students act out part of the dialogue in front of the class.
- Others correct.
