Practice listening, speaking and writing skill, do exercises in the book
II. PROCEDURE
A.Warm up
Get pupils to sing and clap the rhythmn of the song The More We Get Together
B. New lesson
1. Listen and repeat
Look at the book and answer:
Who are they in the dialogue?
What are they talking about?
Listen to the tape, repeat
Call some pairs to read aloud
2. Look and say
New words:
+go to Tet markets:đi chợ Tết
+sing Christmas carols:hát bài hát mừng Giáng sinh
+get presents:có được quà
+eat mooncakes:ăn bánh trung thu
Look at the pictures and identify the festivals
Tell them that they are going to practise asking and answering about a future plan ,using question : :
*Note: What are you going to do?
(Bạn sẽ làm gì?)
I’m going to go to Tet markets.
(Tôi sẽ đi chợ Tết.)
Call some pairs to act out
Correct the mistakes
3.Write
Look at the book on page 35.
Tell them that they are going to write a plan to do three things in a festival.
Get them to look at the picture and guess what festival they are going to write about.
Complete the writing
Get one or two pupils to write their answers on the board.
Check and correct.
4.Let’s play Jigsaw Reading
Look at the book on page 35
Tell pupils that they are going to play the game
Guild pupils how to play
Call on some pupils to report their answers .
