2.New lesson

a.Listen and repeat
Look at two pictures in the book
Tell them that they are going to listen to the chant and pronounce correctly the sound of the letters sh as in fish and that of the leeters lk as in milk
Listen to the tape and repeat after the tape.
Call some students to read aloud
Correct the pronoun.
b.Listen and number
Look at the four pictures in the book
Tell them that they are going to listen to different people talking about their favourite food and drink
Listen to the tape 3 times, check and correct
Answer:a-4:b-3:c-1:d-2:

c.Read and complete
Look at the text
Get pupils to specify the required information.
Ask pupils to read and complete.
Read aloud
