I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Knowledge:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
Use vocabulary items related to the hobbies.
Scan for specific information about hobbies such as: collecting stamps, keeping fish and playing guitars.
2. Skills:
Guessing meaning in context
Scan for specific information to do tasks
3. Language:
Vocabulary concerning the hobbies such as: keep fish, fish tank, accomplish, collect stamps, guitarist, accompany, modest, avid, discarded, indulge in, keep one’s occupied,..
Grammar: revise the present simple.
4. Attitudes:
Be aware of the hobbies and feel interested in reading about the hobbies.

Lead in:
“So, all the activities are called ‘Hobbies’. Today we will study reading about Hobbies to find out which hobby the author refers to”.
