Lesson 1
I. AIMS:
- By the end of this lesson , students will be able to ask and answer the member of family.
- Develop reading, speaking skill
- Teaching student to talk about the member of family.
II. TEACHING AIDS:
- Tape cassette, pictures, book, notebook, workbook.
III. PROCEDURES:
A. Checking- up:
- T check the student’s notebook.
- Comment.
B. New lesson:
a. Warm up: - Let’s Ss chant in two groups. Which is more correct is the winner.
b. Presentation:
1. Look ,listen and repeat.
- Ask Ss to identify the characters in the picture on page 6 and what they are doing.
- Play the recording and asks Ss to listen to the tape twice.
- Ask Ss to listen and repeat in chorus.
- Offer help when necessary
- Have whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation.

2. Look and say.
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures a ,b.c and d then to identify the characters in the pictures and what they should say.
- Fill the bubbles and have Ss to repeat the lines.
- T models the dialogue.
- Ask Ss to practice making and responding to action using picture a, b, c and d
- Call on some pairs to perform the task at the front of the class.
- Offer help when necessary.
- Ask the whole class to repeat all the phrases.



3. Talk..
- Have Ss look at the pictures on page 7 and identify the characters in the pictures.
- Fill in the speech bubbles with the correct phrases promted by Ss.
- Ask Ss to repeat the sentences in the bubbles a few times before let them practice freely.
- Have Ss to work in pairs to practicing.
- Call on a pair to demonstrate at the front of the class.
- Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary.
- Ask the whole class to repeat all the phrases.

4. Let’s chant.
- Guid Ss to read the chant.
- Have the whole class repeat all the phrases to reinforce their pronunciation



C. Summary and home - link:
- in this lesson , Ss have learnt how to ask and answer about family members, using; Who’s this ? It’s my ( father, mother..)
- Ss practice reciting the chant on page 7 at home.

- Ss give their notebook to T.


- Ss recite the chant.

- Have Ss open the book page 8, look at the words father and mother and notice the letter colored differently in both words.
