UNIT 19: A PICNIC.
(Lesson 1_ period 59 )


A.Aim:
-By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to ask and answer question about arrangement for a picnic.
B.Teaching aids:
-Student’s book , lesson plan ,pictures ,radio ,recording ,puppets …

* vocabulary:pinic , camera, cake , sweet ,raincoat, umbrella, sausage..

-Call on some sts write new words and write new structure.

1.Look ,listen and repeat
-Ask sts to open the book on page 60 and look at the picture .Tell sts that Nam and Mai are talking about arrangements for the picnic and that they are going to listen to the recording and repeat the dialogue between Nam and Mai.
--Whole class look at the picture and discuss.
-all sts read again the dialogue


-Wrie new words

-Play the recording through or read the dialogue aloud for sts to listen as they follow the dialogue
-Play the recording and ask sts to repeat and check their pronunciation of the words: clock and behind
-Divide class into small groups and ask them to read again the dialogue and correct pupils’ pronunciation mistakes when necessary.
2.Look and say.
-Ask sts to look at the picture a ,b ,c, d ,e and f on page 60 .Help them to identify the things in the pictures and say them.

+buy : mua
+take: ,cầm ,nắm
-Use the flash cards to teach the new words and ask them to repeat the words under each picture.
- Do the task with one pupils as a model

-ask sts to open the book on page 61 and look at the picture of the classroom.Help them identify the vocabulary items in the pictures
-Do the task with a model
-Ask sts to worrk in pair / group by using new structure: What is he/she going to do? And give the answer: she /he is going to take/buy+………………..
-Tell sts to role play ,asking and anwering questions about their own classroom objects
-Call on some sts say before the class and check their pronunciation.
4.Listen and tick
-Ask sts open the book on page 61 and ask them to identify activities in the pictures..Tell sts that they are goingto

-Play the recording through for sts to listen
