INTRODUCTION THE WAY TO LEARN WELL
I. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use the allocation in their study (at school + at home) and basic classroom language.
II. Materials:
Ss’ book and notebook.
III. Teaching Procedure :
Teacher introduces
“TIENG ANH 3” has 3 books. ( Two student books and one exercise book)
Each student book has 10 units. After 5 units has a review.
Each unit has 3 lessons
Each lesson has 4 parts
Prepare for the academic year.
Teacher remarks Ps to remember some commands
Look, listen and repeat. : Nhìn, nghe và lặp lại
Look and say. :Nhìn và nói

I/ Aims
By the end of the lesson the students will be able to practice greeting and introduce their names.
II/ Teaching aids: Lesson plan, cues, pictures, radio, tape.
III/ Proceduces:
1/ Warm – up:
chain game
Part 1- Look ,listen and repeat.
- Introducing the topic : greet everyone
- Teaching vocabulary :
1. hello: xin chào
2. hi : xin chào
3. I am= I’m : Tôi là
4.Iam Nga = I’m Nga: Tôi là Nga.
Checking: What and where
Setting the scene: ask Ps to identify the greeting
- Playing the CD. Playing the recording 3 times
- Correct the pronunciation errors when necessary.
- Make some questions to check pupil’s comprehension of the language
-Setting the task :
- Modeling the structure :
HelloI’m Lien ;Hi,Lien. I’m Mai.
Part 2 : Look, say.
- Having Ps look at the pictures and runs through the pictures.
-Use a poster to teach how to say the names
Technique : Teacher models the structure:
T-Ps; Ps-T; P1-P2
- Doing the task: Have Ss practice in pairs.
+ Inviting some Ps to tell each pictures.
Language focus :
- Asking Ps to focus on the structure once again.
- Having Ps copy the structure in their notebooks
Follow-up:
- Giving Ss a game : slap on the board.
