Review

A. Aims: Students will be able to perform their abilities in listening,speaking,reading and writing.review the greetings,using phonics,vocabulary they have learnt .
B. Teaching aids: robot-teacher, picture, flashcards.
C. Teaching steps:
I. Phonics
- Write the words on the the board and ask sts to read aloud.
- Pairwork: sts practise reading aloud.
- Correct sts` pronunciation as necessary.
II. Vocabulary
- Put the vocabulary sheep of the paper on the board.

- Sts read the words,sentences aloud and identify their meanings.
- Sts compose sentences with the words they`ve learned.

Lesson 1: Period 1: ( 1:Look,listen and repeat, 2:Look and say)

- Ss will be able to greet and self-introduce.

I. Warm up:
- says hello to the class and introduce yourself,using Hello,I’m + your name.
Walks around the class to say hello again to some pupils and ask them to answer.
II. New lesson.
1. Look, listen and repeat:
- - Ask sts turn to page 12 of the student book.
- Ask sts the name of the characters and what they
say.
- - Use a poster and two puppets to present the
Situation.
- Play the recording all the way through
- Replay the recording.
- Call on one pair.Allocate the lines of Mai and Nam to the pair.
- Have the whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation.
- Divide class into groups
- Ask sts to read in pair.
*Note:
Hi is very informal.Sts can use with friends but not with an aldult, eg:a teacher
Hello is also informal and friendly but more formal than Hi.It can be used with teachers and other adults.
2. Look and say
- Ask sts to look at the pictures a,b,c and d
- Use handmade puppets to teach
