- After the lesson students can greeting someone formally: good morning, good afternoon, good evening... and answer
- By the end of this lesson, students will be able to greet someone formally.
- Develop speaking and speaking skills.

*Checking vocabulary: Rub out and remember.
2. Presentation.
* Look, listen and repeat.
- Ask students to look at the picture in the book and ask:
- Who are they in the picture?
- Where are they?
- Ask students listen and repeat after the tape
- Repeat again and read in pair
3. Practice.
* Look and say.
- Ask Ss to look at pictures a, b, c, d, on P6. Tell them to identify the people in each picture.
- Ask Ss to identify what part of the day it is in each picture.
- Ask Ss to work in pairs one student says greetings and the other responses
- Call on some pairs to demonstrate at the front of the class.

- Asks pupils to work in pair, one pupil says the greetings and the other responses. Repeat the step, but this time ask pupils to swap their roles.
- Call on some pairs to act out in front of the class.
