PERIOD 1 : INTRODUCTION THE WAY TO LEARN WELL

I. OBJECTIVE.
1. Knowledge.
- By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to know How to prepare a new lesson, How to learn & check the previous lesson, How to learn English well and use the allocation in their study (at school + at home) and basic classroom language.
2. Skills. Know the way of using other language .
3. Language focus:

- Asking the students what they learnt last year or how they know English now.
+ Vocabulary:

- Educate ss love their lesson

I. Objectives:
Students will be able to ask and answer questions about where someone is from and know some countries and the capital of some countries on the world.

1. Vocabulary: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines ......
2. Sentence patterns: + Where`s he/she from? - He/ She`s from___________.

1.Warm up.
- Have sts play a game " Throw the ball"
with topic "Country"


2. Look, listen and repeat.
-Have pupils observe a picture and answer some questions.
+ Who are they?
+ Where are they from?
+ Where are they?
+ What do they come to Vietnam to do?
- Ask pupils to talk name of cities or capitals in some countries you know.
- Teach some new words and sentence patterns





- Explain and make clear meaning of structure





- Have pupils look at the book and repeat
- Call some pairs to read
3. Point, ask and answer.
- Ask pupils to look at the pictures and sentence pattern then practice speaking
- T models with a student


- Ask pupils to look at the picture then ask and answer in pairs
