UNIT 1: WHAT IS YOUR ADDRESS ?
Lesson 1 (1, 2,3)
Objectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to use the words and phrases related to the topic address, ask and respond to the question What ‘s your address ?
Language contents:

Modes: TWC, individuals, pair-work, group work.

1. Warm up
(4 min)
a. Class organization.
- Ask a student some questions in Vietnamese
+ What’s the date to day?
+ Who’s absent to day?
b. Greeting
- Say hello to the class and introduce: Hello, I’m + name. How are you?
- Ask ss to answer
- Walk around the class to say hello again to some ss and ask them to answer
- Ask ss to work in pairs and do the same with their friends.
- Let the class sing the “ Hello” song.

2. Look, listen and repeat
(10 min)
- Let ss read the requests and remind the meanings. Give feedbacks.
- Ask ss to look at the pictures in part 1 (p.6) to identify the characters and the situation.
- Ask ss to answer some questions:
? How many pictures are there ?
? Who are they ?
? What are they talking about ?
Give feedbacks.
- Set the scene.
- Play the CD for ss to listen to the dialogue twice and point to the appropriate lines in their books.
- Play the CD for ss to listen and repeat chorally few times.
- Devide the class into 2 groups to role play the characters; then change their roles.
- Ask ss to work in pairs to practise the dialogues.
- Call some pairs of ss to practise the dialogue in front of the class. Give feedbacks.

- Ask ss to role play the characters in pairs to practise asking and answering using the pictures.
- Call some pairs of ss to practise in front of the class. Give feedbacks.

4. Let’s talk
