- Ask Ps to look at the pictures at the top of page 49 and think of the places.

I.Overview
1.Objectives: By the end of the lesson SS will be able to pronounce correctly the sound of the letter “ks” as in “books” and that of the letters “ps” as in “stamps” , and listen for specific information( places)
2. Language focus:
- Phonics: “books” ,“stamps”
-Vocabulary: words about places
- Sentence patterns: Look at the monkey. It looks funny.
3. Resources: student book, workbook, sub- board, pictures, CD

1.Listen and repeat
- Use the suboard to present the sounds
- T explains the requirement of the task.
- Ask Ps to look at the words “books and stamps”on the board and produce the sounds“ ks,ps”.
