I. Warm up: Chatting
Let Ps list the names of some countries.
II. New lesson.
1. Presentation:Listen and repeat
-Have Ss open their book page 6. Ask Ps the names of the characters and what they say.
-Play the recording and asks Ss to listen to the tape twice.
- Teach the new words:
summer, camp, different, country, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur
- Play the recording again for Ps to repeat each line.
- Check to make sure Ps can repeat and understand the dialogue.
- Whole class repeat in chorus.
2. Practice:
a,Point, ask and answer
- Set the context: “These are the children at the summer camp in VN. They come from many countries.”
- Do the task with one person as an example:
T: Where’s he from?
P: He’s from Malaysia.
T: Where in Malaysia is he from?
P: Kuala lumpur.
- Repeat the step but this time ask Ps to swap their roles.
- Call on some pairs to perform the task in front of the class.
b, Listen and tick:
- Ask pupils to open their Students’ book on P7.
- Tell them that they are going to listen to the recording and tick the correct answers
- Play the recording through for pupils to listen.
- Play the recording again for pupils to listen and tick the correct answers
- Ask pupils to exchange their answers with their partners before reporting them to the class.
- Read out the answers to the class. Provide explanation(s) when necessary.
4. Talk
- Ask pupils to open their Students’ book on P7.Make sure they understand the task: Each pupil chooses a boy/ a girl from the pictures and introduces his/her to his/her partner. His/her to his/her partner will make questions.
-Do the first exmple with the whole class in order to give them a clear idea of how the activity works.Point to Lawan:
T: This is Lawan.
Class: Where is she from?
T: She’s from Thailand.
Class:Where in Thailand is she from?
T: She’s from Bangkok.
Pairs work. Pupils in pairs take turn to ask and answer questions about the characters in this section.
Call on an open pair to demonstrate the task in fron of the class. Praise the pair if they add some extra language based on what they know.
Summary
In this lesson, pupils have learnt:
+ to ask and answer questions about where someone is from, using Where’s(Zack) from? – He’s from Malaysia.,and Where in Malaysia(is he from)? – (Kuala Lumpur).

Pupils use a world Atlas to search for the cities and flags of the related countries in the unit.
