1. Warm – up:
- Ss fill in the blanks to complete the sentences:
1. I…Nam
2. …I’m Mai
3. Hi….am Li Li.
- Give marks

2. Presentation:
– T introduces the new lesson by using a picture of Li Li and Nam & ask some questions:
+ What are their names?
+ What are they doing?
Activity 1: Introduce new words and structure
T uses pictures and mime to explain new words and structure
+ Choral repetition
+ Individual repetition
Ss listen to the tape once
Ss repeat after the tape twice


Play roles( T( Ss )
Pairwork: Ss play roles Li Li and Nam
Give feedback.
Activity 2: Introduce yourself
Pairwork: Ss greet and introduce themselves
Give feedback.
Consolidation:
Play a game:
One student stands up & choose a partner by greeting & introducing his/ her name
The chosen one stands up, respond to that greeting & introduce his/ her name to the first student
The second student does the same with the third one & so on
When 5 or 7 Ss have been taken part in the game, it’s over

Activity 1: Listening
Pre- listening:
Ss talk about the content of the pictures by answering the questions:
+ Who are they?
+ What are they talking to each other
Ask Ss to listen to the tape and check the pictures are mentioned.
While- listening:
- Ss listen to the tape twice and check the pictures are mentioned.
Give feedback

Post- listening:
Ss listen again sentence by sentence

Activity 2: Reading

Ss talk about the people in the pictures by answering 2 questions:
