•Greeting.

•Set the scene.
•Ask SS to open the book at P6 and look at the section 1.
•Run through the P

• Play the tape once,ask SS to listen C
• Play the tape twice,ask SS to L&R(WC).

*Let’s sing: The Hello Song.
•Run through the song
•Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen while they are reading the song.
•Ask SS to listen&repeat each line of the rhyme.
•Divide the class in to three.Group one plays the roll of Mai, Group two plays the roll of Nam and other is Miss Hien .Repeat the step but this time the Gs swap their parts.
•Call on one Ps in each group to perform the song at the front of the class.The rest of the class sing along and clap the rhythm
•Have the whole class sing the song again to reinforce their pronunciation.
• Summary:
• Ask SS to retell the model sentence
• Ask SS to learn by heart the new words, the model sentences
