1. Warm – up:
- Ss sing a Vietnamese song
2. Presentation:
T introduce the new lesson by asking some questions:
+ How many numbers are there in the song?
+ What are they?(in Vietnamese)
Activity 1: Introduce new words and structure
T uses fingers to introduce 3 numbers: 1,2,3
+ Choral repetition
+ Individual repetition
Ss listen to the tape once
Ss repeat after the tape twice.
Activity 2:
Pairwork: count some things they have. Ex: pen, book, ruler…
Give feedback.
Consolidation:
Play the game “counting from 1-3”:
Give each student a number from 1-3. The st of number 3 come to the front of class, continue to count from 1-3. This time, the ss of number 3 come back to their seats.
When there’re 2 ss left, ask them take turns to count from 1 to 3. The st of number 3 come to his/her seat.
The last st is the loser.
