2. Presentation: Teacher introduces
“TIENG ANH 3” has 3 books. ( Two pupil books and one exercise book)
Each pupil book has 10 units. After 5 units has a review.
Each unit has 3 lessons
Each lesson has 4 parts
Prepare for the academic year.

Period 2 - Unit 1 : Hello - Lesson 1

I. Objectives
By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to greet others and introduce themselves, using Hello, Hi, I am +name.

1.Vocabulary: hi, hello,I, am,you,nice,meet
2. Sentences patterns : Hello. I’m Mai. / Hi, Mai.

III.Resources:Posters,flashcards,puppets,CD player, pupil’s and teacher’s book.
IV.Procedures
1.Warm-up *Chatting
- Greetings. Say Hello ( encourage ps to answer with Hello).
- Repeat the procedure several times.
- Introduce yourself to the class by pointing to yourself and say: Hello. I’m Miss Le
- Say Hello to the class and have them reply. Walking around the class to greet some pupils, slapping on the hands of the greeted pupils.
- Call the roll in order to remember the pupils’ names.
