Period 01
Presenting the subject and the english book.
I. Objectives:
- Present the subject and the book.
- Help Ss get on with sections and skills of English 6.
1, Language focus: tenses, adjectives and adverbs, modal verbs.
2, Language skills: listening, speaking and reading, writing skills.
II. Teaching aids:
1, Teacher`s: text book, teacher’s book, sub-boards.
2, Students`: text book , note book, chalks, pens.

* Warm up: (Chatting)
- asks Ss some questions about their vocations. (Vietnamese)

- introduces the contents of the text book.
- introduces the skills.
+ How to learn listening skill?
+ How to learn speaking skill?
+ How to learn reading skill?
+ How to learn writing skill?
- introduces the workbook.

- open the book, and look at it.
Units: 16 units.
Each unit consits of 3 parts: A, B, C
There are 6 grammar practices.
- listen to the teacher, and remember.

- one, two, three, four, five.
2, Language skills: listening, speaking skills.
II. Teaching aids:
1, Teacher`s: text book, teacher’s book, sub-boards., tape, stereo, cards (numbers from 1 - 5 )
2, Students`: text book , note book, chalks, pens.
