Theme One :Hello
Lesson one
I/. Objectives :
By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to :
- Speaking commands
- Develop listening, speaking skills for students.
II/. Language content
1.Vocabulary
Stand up, sit down, hands up, hands down, be quiet, make a line.
2. Structure

III/. Teaching method:
-Playing game
-Individual work, teacher - whole class, group work,pair group.
IV/. Teaching aids:
- flashcards
- CD tracks 2, 3,4,5 and 6.
-Student book.
V/. Procedure :

Teacher’s activities
Students’ activities and content

1.Warm - up:
-Listen to the song “ The greetings song ” and do the action.
2. Activity 1 : Listen, point and say.
-Arrange the flashcards on the board, play audio.
Point to the flashcards with the audio.
-Play audio again.
-Change the order of the flashcards.
-Correct the pronunciation when needed.
* Game :Heads up. What’s missing ?
-Divide the class in two teams.
-Arrange flashcards on the board and move one card when sts are not looking. One St from each team calls out the missing flashcard.
3. Activity 2: Listen and follow.
-Introduce the situation.
-Have sts call out the objects and people they can see.
-Play the audio.
-Play the audio again.
* Structure :
Stand up, please.
Make a line, please.

-Guide Sts to use the structure.
* Listen. Sing along.
-Play the audio.
-Didive the class into two groups.
-Group A : sing the commands.
Group B : do the actions.
-Swap roles and repeat.
4. Activity 3:Draw lines. Practice, point and say.
-Have sts call out theobjects and words they can see.
-Guide sts to do.
-Check the answer as a whole class.
-work in pairs. Asking and answering.
* Game : “Teacher says.”
-Have sts stand up.
-Play the role of “teacher”, give commands to the class. Start some commands with the phrase. “Teacher says…”
-T guides.
-Divide the class into groups.Sts in each group be “teacher”.
-Correct mistakes when needed.
5. Homework :
Remind students to :
-Review the words.
-Prepare the new lesson.

-Listen and do the action.


-Listen to the audio.
-Listen and point.
-Listen and repeat.

-Sts listen, repeat to the pictures in their books.
-Sts point to the flashcards.

-Review the story from the previous the lesson.” The children played a game called “ Teacher says”
-Introduce the situation.
