I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of lesson, students are expected to achieve the following
objectives:

1. Knowledge:
Help learners get started with some language items in unit 8.
Vocabulary: understand and use words and phrases related to different way of learning.
Pronunciation: identify and use the sentence stress appropriately.
Grammar: understand and use defining and non – defining relative clauses with who, which, that,
whose.
2. Competencies:
a, General competences:
Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and teamwork.
Develop reading, speaking, listening, writing skills.
b, Specific competences:
Actively join class activities.
Students understand more about the custom and traditional values in Viet Nam.
c, Digital competencies:
1.1.NC1a - Meet information needs.
1.2.NC1a - Evaluate the reliability of data sources, information, and digital content.
3. Qualities:
Know about benifits of blended learning class, modern school, advantages and disadvantages of
online learning.
Understand the useage of electronic of devices to learn.
Students learn about festival communication systems and cultural values through websites or
learning platforms to gain a deeper understanding of cultural communication and values in
Vietnam.
