A.Objectives:
1. Knowledge:
- Vocabulary.
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to listen and answer questions about Mr.Lai and read for details about Dr Lai’s job and revise about vocabularies of toothache.
2. Competences: Communication, co-operation, self-study, creativeness, solving problems, using language.
Listening and reading comprehension
3. Qualities: Ss take part in the lesson actively and effectively.
Students remember to take care their teeth regularly.
II. Teaching aids
1. Teacher: Laptop, speakers, subboard.
2. Students: Unit 10- B2, B3
III. Procedure
1.Activity :Warm up(8’)
a.Aims::Helping students revise the knowledge in the last lesson and then leadto the new lesson
b.Contents: Asks and answer some questions
c.Outcome: answers` students

- Ask students some questions
?What `s the matter with Minh? Does he go to the dentist?
?What about Hoa? Did she have a toothache last week? Did the dentist help Hoa? How was she fill? Is it OK now?
- Listen, comment and give marks.

Chatting:
?Do you often go to the dentist’s?
?What clothes does he/ she wear?
?How do you feel when you come to see the dentist?
?How does the dentist help you?
=> Introduce the lesson.

2.Activity 2: Pre-listening; Pre-reading (12’)
a.Aims: Help students know some new words, listen and answer about Dr Lai ;
listen and read about Minh and the dentist.

- Set the scene: This is Minh. What is the matter with Minh? How does he feel? What is the dentist doing? Why does that happen to Minh? You are going to listen and read about Minh and the dentist.

a.Aims:Help students understand the details about Dr Lai and Minh then answer some questions

Part 2:
a. Dr Lai is a dentist.
b. She wears a uniform to work.
c. Most children feel scared when they come to see Dr Lai.
d. She explains what will happen. She gives them advice. She tells them how to look after their teeth and she reminds them to clean their teeth regularly and eat sensibly.
Part 3:Complete the story (gap fill)
