1. Warm - Up: (15’)
- Ask Ss to do the test 15’.

2. Presentation: (10’)
- Introduce some new words
1. a doctor (n)
2. a nurse (n)
- Ask students to practice the new words
- Notice the main stress pattern.
- Ask students to look at the pictures page 39
- Let them practice in pairs, ask and answer, talking about Song’s family.
- Call some pairs to get feedback
- Ask students to practice pronouns: I, You, They, We, She, He
- Write pronouns above into the board
- Ask students write possessive adjectives






- Ask students give some examples

3. Practice: (10’)
- Call four students go to blackboard and write their job and age by ask and answer question:
1. How old is Mr. Kien?
2. What does he do?
3. How old is Mrs. Oanh?
4. What does he do?
5. How old is Lan?
6. What does she do?
7. How old is Song?
8. What does he do?
* Words cues:
+ Father: doctor / forty / Mr.Kien
+ Mother: nurse / thirty - five / Mrs.Oanh
+ Sister: student / fifteen / Lan
+ Brother: student/ twelve / Song
- Call some others students read aloud the sentences in front of class

4. Production: (7’)

- Advise them to write a short passage about Song’s family, using the reading as a model.

- Have students play with words part 3/p.39
