- Use the present perfect tense to talk about experiences
- Practice the present perfect with different exercises

I. Warm up:Answer some questions?
Look at the picture:
+ Where is this?
+ How long have you been at Truong Thi Secondary School?
+ Have you ever been to Ha Noi City?
Underline the verb
+ What tense are these verbs?
→ saythe present perfect
=> introduce new lesson
II. New lesson
Grammar: The present Perfect
*Activity 1. Listen again to part of the conversation. Underline all the verb in present perfect.
- Ask sts to recall what Tom told Mai about in the conversation in getting started.
- Ask sts to underline all the verb in the present perfect tense.
- Give a example about present perfect
- Ask sts about S, AUX,V,O
- Ask ss about form of tense
- Provide the form/use of the present perfect.
- Ask ss some examples
- Have sts play a game: remember list of verb part participles
See -> seen
Go -> gone
Clean -> cleaned
Take -> taken
Eat -> eaten
Be -> been






*Activity 2: Put the verbs in brackets into the present perfect
- ask sts to read all the sentences and work in pairs to do exercises
- Ask ss to give the answer

Activity 3: Play a game: Lucky Number
T introduce the rule of game
-T divide into 2 groups (group A,B)
- Ss choose one number from number 1 to number 7, each number have 1 questions, Ss must to answer this questions, each questions have 25 seconds.
- Each correct answer, you have 1 marks, incorrect answer not mark.
- Have six number include one lucky number. You don’t need answer when choose it.
- When finished, team with the higher score will be the winner.
Activity 4. Look at Tom’s webpage.Tell a partner what Tom has done this week
- T ask ss to look at the picture and answer.
Can you tell me what he does in the picture?
What can you see in the picture?
Can you guess what he has done?
- Ask ss to give the answer

Activity 5. Class Survey: AT HOME
- T give ss a handout paper, it have all questions and ss tick Yes/No at home
- Next lesson T collect handout paper, report the results,find out what is the thing the most Ss have ever done/ the least of them has done

- Retell main content of the lesson
