Lesson 1: Getting started - Listen and read
I. Objectives:

- By the end of the lesson, Ss know what they would do in the situation which requires first-aid.
- Vocabulary: Related to “A first – Aid course”
- Grammar: + Future simple with “will / shall”.
+ Making requests, offers and requests using modal “will”.

- T has Ss play game Kim’s game.
- T has Ss open their books and look at the things on page 80. Tell them these things are often used for first – aids.
- The group having the most right English words is the winner.

- T asks Ss to discuss and write down what they would do in these situations which require first aids.

II. Listen and read
* Ss know what they would do in the situation which requires first-aid.

- T plays the tape “Listen and read”.
- Ss practice the dialogue (pair work).
- Ss practice the dialogue in front of the class.
