Lesson 3: A Closer look 2

I. Objectives
1. Knowledge
By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to:
- Use “Will” talk about future action.
- Use “Might” to talk about future possibility.
2. Skills:       
    Training reading, listening, speaking, writing skills...
3. Attitudes: Ss should try their best to have a dreamy house
4. Qualities, Competences: 
- Ss will be careful, hardworking and active
- Ss will develop their communication, co-operations, self-study to look up new words at home.
II. PREPARATION:
1.Teacher: book, planning, picture, laptop, projector, link sachmem.com
2.Students: books, notebooks
III. TEACHING METHODS:
Communicative approach, group Ss and T’s activities, play as a character, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practicing, discussion group, technical present….
IV. PROCEDURE:
Activity 1: Warm up (5 minutes)
Goal
The activity aims at:
Review old lesson

Input

Procedure
- Teacher asks sts to work in group of four.
- Teacher writes request on the board.
- Teacher asks one of each group to go to the board and write the answers.
- In 1 minutes, which group has more correct each other.
-Teacher gives feedback. today lesson, we are going to learn more words to describes rooms


ACTIVITY 2. Knowledge Formation (5’)

Goal
The activity aims at:
Help sts know about WILL + V

Input

We used will + V to talk about actions we think are likely to happen in the future.

Outcome

Procedure
- Teachers explain how Will + V is used and how it is formed.
- Get Ss to study the grammar box. Teacher explains what students don’t understand.


Activity 3: Practice 1 (15’)
The future simple tense.

Goal
The activity aims at:
Learn about will structure and their usage.

Input
Exercise 1 on Page 41
Exercise 2 on Page 41
Exercise 3 on Page 41

Outcome
- Answer key exercise 1: St’s answers
- Answer key exercise 2: 1. will 2. will 3. will 4. won’t 5. will
- Answers Ex 3:
1. Computer will/won’t help me to do the housework.
2. A robot will help me to water the flowers.
3. A smart T.V will help me to cook meals.
4. Washing machine will/won’t help me to iron my clothes.
5. Smartphone won’t help me to take care of children.

Procedure
Let Ss work in pairs.
Correct Ss’ mistakes.
Call some Ss to say out their answers separately.
Let Ss work individually. Teacher corrects their answers and may call on some Ss to say their answers for the class separately.
Teachers give explanations if necessary.

Help sts know how to use Might + V for future possibility.
