    I. OBJECTIVES
    1. Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:
    a. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will know more Ba`s friend.
    - Grammar:
    - Vocabulary: character, orphanage, reserved, sociable, (to) tell jokes, sense of humor
    b. Skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
    c. Attitude: Students how to keep their friendship

    - Self-learning capability.

    - Cooperation capacity
    II. Preparation
    1. Teacher: - Lesson plane, book, color chalks, pictures, MP3
    2. Students: - Books, notebooks, pen, ruler …

    1. Warm up (5’)

    - Ask students to look at four pictures on page 10 and talk about the activities they want to do after school or in their free time.
    - Give them some questions.

    - What are these students doing?
    (play soccer / play chess / read books / play volleyball)
    - What time of the day do you think it is? (in the morning / evening, after school)
    - Do you like soccer / reading books...?
    - Whom do you like playing with?

    Vocabulary:
    - character: (translation) tính nết, tính cách

    - reserved (adj.) dè dặt, kín đáo
    - sociable: (adj.) dễ gần gũi, dễ chan hòa, hòa đồng
    - (to) tell jokes: (explanation: tell a story which makes people laugh)nói đùa
    - sense of humor (translation) ốc hài hước
    
    - T gets students to do exercise 1 on page 14.
    - T asks them to work in pairs to choose the best answers.

    - T explains the meanings of the phrases:
